Managing your collection

The primary tool for managing your collection is iView Mediapro. We recommend that you have a single iView catalog, which contains all the images you have on Gekko Images. Any changes to your collection are easier to make through iView than on the site.

There are a number of tools provided on the site to help you manage your collection easily. From the thumbnail page you can do the following:

• date range of upload
• keyword search
• iview file name (csv text file name)
• star rating
• size
• Hold status
• Most or least recent uploads

You can put images on hold. This immediately withdrawals them from any new searches or sales.

You can delete them from the system all together.

By clicking on the thumbnail you can go to the details page for that image. On this page you can edit all the metadata, upload and replace the image, rotate the thumbnail if required. Note if thumbnails are coming up at 90 degrees it is because you have soft rotated them in iView.
