iView Media Pro & Gekko Images

iView is a 3rd party image management software commonly used by many photographers. It makes the management of your digital images easy. Gekko Images has been developed to work in conjunction with iView Media Pro. iView Media Pro manages the images on your local machine, exports the catalogue and meta data file which in turn is uploaded to the site where your catalogue is made available for sale.

What do I use iView for?

• Use iView to catalogue and manage all of you digital images, whether from a digital camera or scanned.
• Create a single master Gekko library file with media from many different files without having to duplicate or move files around
• Centrally annotate your images
• Apply keywords and categories to all your images (vital or online searching)
• Create web thumbnails
• Burn your submission DVD/CD
• Synchronize your master library with Gekko Images web library

How does this save me time?
By managing your image catalogue in iView Media Pro there is NO re-entering of image data as you upload images to the website. If you need to remove an image from the site simply remove the image from the iView master library and synchronize with the site and any changes will be replicated across the site.

Do I have to use iView to submit images to Gekko Images?
No. But the easiest method is to use iView. It is a cost effective way to make it easy to sell your images online.
