Image prices vary on Gekko Images according to the licence type, usage and the star rating. The basic collection is split into 2 - the RM collection and the RF collection. RM images are the best quality on Gekko Image's and as such they command a premium. The RF collection represents great value as there are many thousands of high quality images across a broad range of subjects and categories.
The RF collection is priced according to usage size. The sizes range from Small Web, ideal for banners and interactive marketing campaigns to our large size which is capable if going as big as you require, with files over 5200 pixels!
Prices for the RM premium collection is are determined by the Gekko Images Usage calculator. This calculator will ask you some simple questions about how you would like to use the image(s) and determines the price accordingly to what usage you require.

Understanding The Gekko Star rating system.
Every image on Gekko has been graded according to image quality. All Rights Managed (RM) images are available as 1- 5 stars and all Royalty free images are limited 1 - 3 stars. So the most economical images on the Gekko system are the RF 1 star images. And the very best are RM 5 star. In our search engine you can choose to search all images or limit the search to specific star ratings. This is very useful to help you weed out images that do not meet your budget or quality preferences.
There are significantly different prices available across the star rating so please use it. For example a RF 3 star image selling for $100.00 will be $33.00 as a 1 star image. 1,2 and 3 star RM images have the same price as RF images but are limited to the specified usage. These RM images represent very good value as they are often much better images than RF images at very competitive prices.
